Guidance for May 1 Reopening of Businesses & Restaurants
Business Guidance

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) released general guidance for businesses allowed to reopen starting May 1. These guidelines are in addition to the measures outlined in the Governor’s Proclamation .
Restaurant Guidance

The Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) released restaurant-specific guidance detailing certain public health measures that they recommend implementing to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. As a reminder, bars may continue to-go sales, as were allowed under the previous proclamations, but may not reopen to the general public.
