In an effort to address our members’ concerns and needs during this challenging situation, the Chamber is convening a panel of experts to answer your questions directly.
At 2PM on Tuesday, March 24 (tomorrow), Matthew Rector from Senator Grassley's office, Kristle Percy of IowaWORKS, Tim Putnam from the NIACC John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, and City Administrator Aaron Burnett will gather for a virtual forum that you can watch and participate in live on Facebook. Chamber President/CEO Robin Anderson will serve as moderator.
Our primary role in a situation like this is connecting our members to resources. Here are few things we're doing to provide information to our members:
Making telephone calls to the entire membership to answer questions and provide resources. (If you haven't heard from us yet, you will)! You can also call us during regular business hours if you have questions (M-F, 8AM-4:30PM).
Dedicating our website homepage as a one-stop source regarding COVID-19 and businesses. There is a lot of information out there, and it's overwhelming. We're sifting through it, so you don't have to.
Member Updates regarding business hours, special operations, special offerings, etc.
Offering a special Chamber Bucks program (North Iowa Strong - Spend Local) through Clear Lake Bank & Trust and First Citizens Bank to encourage buying locally and helping our small businesses.
As your local Chamber of Commerce, we will do our best to continue sending important information as we receive it, without overburdening you with emails. For additional resources and information on COVID-19, please visit our website.
