SBA Paycheck Protection Program Deadline Extended

The Paycheck Protection Program resumed accepting applications July 6, 2020 in response to the Paycheck Protection Program Extension Act.
The new deadline to apply for a Paycheck Protection Program loan is August 8, 2020.
Protect Your Employees and Customers with "Wear A Mask" Signs

To lessen the incidence of COVID-19 infections in Arkansas, the State Chamber/AIA has developed signage encouraging Arkansans to wear face masks in indoor settings. The signs can be accessed and printed here and here and affixed to entrance doors of your company or organization.

These signs are in support of Gov. Hutchinson's efforts to lessen COVID-19 infections and in accordance with the Arkansas Department of Health recommendations here .
Hutchinson Allows Cities to Enact Mask Mandates

Gov. Asa Hutchinson signed an executive order that would allow cities to enact a “model ordinance" drafted by the Arkansas Municipal League requiring masks. The order does not require masks statewide and the local ordinance would not include penalties for not complying. Full story here .
$600K in grants revives expansion
at North Little Rock's airport

The North Little Rock Municipal Airport's $3.6 million expansion project is back on after a couple of months of uncertainty because of the coronavirus pandemic.The Aeronautics Division of the Arkansas Department of Commerce was able to provide $600,000 in grants for the project after learning the downturn in revenue from aviation fuel sales wasn't as bad as projected.
