Birichino, Besson Vineyard Grenache, 2014 $28.99

The Besson Vineyard is a pre-prohibition grenache vineyard planted in 1910. These are seriously old vines - meaning yields are low and flavor is high. Despite the potential for concentration the winemaker looks for aromatic power vs weight - this is the practiced philosophy and it's realized in this wine. Sap, crystallized ginger, and botanical extracts perfume this delicate but lifted pale red, pinot-like grenache. Although it's lighter in style there is structure and a solid core of fruit. Serve with a slight chill.
Doug's :

Stolpman Vineyards, La Cuadrilla, 2017 $21.99

This blend of Syrah, Sangiovese and Grenache screams Ballard Canyon. It is powerful, plush and balanced with fantastic acidity. This is a perfect wine for barbequing on these cool Spring evenings.
Patrick's :

Henri Bourgeois, Sancerre, Rosé of Pinot Noir, 2018 $22.99

From the limestone soils of Sancerre, this Ros é of Pinot Noir has amazing minerality and acidity, for great food pairing, as well as leaving you wanting another glass. But as clean and bright as it is, 3 to 4 months on the lees definitely adds complexity and weight, making this Ros é a wine to be taken very seriously.
Start a great dinner with a charcuterie plate and this wine! You will not be disappointed.
Madison's :

Domaine Labbe, Abymes Vin de Savoie, 2018 $15.99

Savoie is an Alpine region most famous for skiing, cheese, and vermouth and not famous enough for its delicious white wines. Jacquere is the grape, a gently aromatic and refreshing variety indigenous and grown mainly in Savoie. Domaine Labbe farms about 10ha in the commune of Abymes, specializing in this grape. The wines are fresh and pure with a beam of salty minerality and light citrus. Best consumed with cheese fondue, a specialty of the region.
Quin's :

Willamette Valley Vineyards, Pinot Gris, 2017 $18.99

This fresh, clean Pinot Gris is perfect for late spring and summer sipping. Aromas of citrus and melon lead into a palate driven by apple and pear with even more citrus and bright acidity balancing the experience. The easy drinking nature of this wine makes it a versatile food pairing choice - from salmon or chicken to salads with citrus vinaigrette.
Dave's :

Domaine du Pere Caboche, 'La Petite Caboche' Rosé, Vin de Pays de Vaucluse, 2018 $12.99

Spring wine picks phase three: Now that even the most casual wine drinkers are aware that rose' can be more than a cloying stuck fermentation, we've seen a seasonal rush to get wine on the market earlier and from all corners of the globe. As more and more pink wines come on the market you may ask, "Where are the values?" Well, I'll tell you. This little gem is from an estate owned by the JP Boisson family of Chateauneuf de Pape fame. The nose and body are vibrant with fresh berry flavors and the finish is zippy with just the right amount of Carignan rusticity. Just as Beaujolais was THE expression of the fall harvest in wine for a fading generation of wine drinkers, rose' is THE embodiment of Spring for the current generation and, possibly, generations to come.
