Election Day is Tuesday
North Richland Hills voters have the opportunity to vote on the following in the November 5 election:
  • North Richland Hills City Council, Place 4 (unexpired term)
  • Tarrant County College Bond
  • State of Texas Constitutional Amendments
  • Keller Independent School District Bond (if you live in Keller ISD)

Early voting continues through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dan Echols Center at 6801 Glenview Dr. and the NRH Public Library at 9015 Grand Ave. NRH registered voters may vote early at any early polling location in Tarrant County. A complete list of early voting locations and hours is available here.

On November 5, voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. New this year, the Tarrant County Elections Office is utilizing countywide “vote centers” on Election Day. The “vote centers” give residents the option of voting at any polling location countywide, rather than being limited to a preassigned location based on their precinct. Please visit www.nrhtx.com/vote for a list of election day polling locations and more information about the November 5 election.
2019 Citizen Survey Reminder
If you have not done so already, please take time to complete the 2019 NRH Citizen Survey at www.nrhtx.com/survey. Surveys are being accepted through November 5. Some of the topics assessed on the survey are public safety, parks and recreation, streets and traffic, and customer service. The results of the survey will help the City Council and staff in planning for the future of North Richland Hills.
Ceremony to Dedicate New Fire Apparatus
The NRH Fire Department will hold a traditional housing ceremony to put a new fire apparatus into service at 4 p.m. on November 4 at Fire Station #2, located at 4001 Rufe Snow Drive.
The department is replacing Unit 945, a "quint" which has been in service since 1997. A brief dedication ceremony will be held and the new "quint" will receive its first bath and be pushed into the station. This tradition dates back to the 18th century when the horses that drew the apparatus had no reverse gear. Dignitaries and citizens in the neighborhood surrounding the station are invited to attend. Refreshments will follow the event.

A "quint" is a fire-service apparatus that serves the dual purpose of an engine and a ladder truck. The name "quint" refers to the five functions that a quint provides - pump, water tank, fire hose, aerial device, and ground ladders.
