  • Congratulations to newly promoted Heavy Equipment Operator Brian Sayeg who was promoted on January 14.
  • Congratulations to Firefighter Corey Carlin who was approved by the Medical Director to function as a paramedic with the Department this week.
  • The Fire Department Board of Directors met Tuesday January 15 and took the following action:
    • Approved transfer of funds to the Post Employment Stabilization Fund.
    • Approved sending an amended Purchase and Sale Memorandum Agreement to the Village of Shorewood in regards to Fire Station 83.
  • Chief Whitaker and Kueny Architects met with the Village of Whitefish Bay for a Pre-Development Conference for the Fire Station 84 Remodel Project. Bids for this project are due January 31.
  • Potential bidders for the Fire Station 84 Remodel Project were allowed to walk-thru the building on January 17.
  • An article regarding ambulance diversion in the Milwaukee area is being run in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this weekend.
