Weekly Summary

  • Congratulations to Lieutenant Scott Borchert who retired from the Department this week after 32 years of service to the North Shore. Scott started with the City of Glendale Fire Department. Thank you to Scott for your leadership and service to the communities we serve!
  • Chief Whitaker and members of the Shorewood Station 83 Project Team presented the preliminary plans that were submitted to the Village's Design Review Board and Plan Commission on Monday July 1.
  • Crews participated in six 4th of July community celebrations on Thursday.
  • Severe weather resulted in thirteen calls for service for power lines down this past week. 
  • The Board of Directors Meeting scheduled for July 9 has been cancelled.  
Donate to North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation

Our neighbors at  DDC Lutheran Church in Whitefish Bay  and the North Shore Fire/Rescue Foundation have teamed up to donate up to $30,000 to the Department for purchase of two LUCAS Chest Compression Devices for our paramedic ambulances. You can contribute to the Foundation to help support the donation match of DDC Lutheran by going to the Foundation page at  https://www.nsfire.org.
