Weekly Summary

  • Battalion Chief Jim Mayer provided training on the Milwaukee County OASIS Radio System to the River Hills Police Department. BC Mayer is Chair of the radio system's technical committee.
  • Staff reviewed proposals from three architects for design services of a remodel of Fire Station 83 in Shorewood with the Shorewood Village Manager. Further review of the proposals will be conducted next week.
  • The Fire Department Board of Directors will meet Tuesday March 12.
  • The Department assisted the Milwaukee Fire Department at a three alarm structure fire on N. Farwell Ave in the City in the early morning hours of March 4.
