All summer our firefighter/paramedics stop at block parties throughout the communities we serve. I got this great letter from a Whitefish Bay resident earlier this month. Nice job to all of our staff.

Weekly Summary
    • Two people were injured, one severely, as a result of a vehicle accident on I-43 at Brown Deer Rd at 12:11 AM on September 20. Both patients were transported to Froedtert Hospital after being extricated from the vehicle.
  • Chief Whitaker presented the Department's Long Range Financial Plan at the Bayside Village Board Meeting on September 14.
  • The Fire Commission posted it's firefighter recruitment advertisement this week in conjunction with the Cities of Wauwatosa and West Allis Fire Departments.
  • Department Wide Training this week on diabetic related medical emergencies.
  • Chief Whitaker and Lt. Tyk met with Ascension-Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee regarding community EMS programs.
  • Chief Whitaker met with Milwaukee County EMS regarding the EMS services delivered by the County.
