Still Riding
September 11, 2001 meant so many different things to so many different people. I was leaving work the morning of September 11 and saw the breaking news that a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center Towers. By the time I got home, the second plane had hit the tower and I spent the day watching news wondering "how did this happen".

Various documentaries were produced about the impact of the events of 9/11 on the fire service - one that stood out to me was the History Channels "Still Riding". It featured FDNY Capt. Terry Hatton who's legacy left a strong impression on me for his dedication and commitment to the fire service, his department and excellence in his performance.
