Congratulations to HEO Matt Napreilla and Thomas Yank who were officially sworn in as Heavy Equipment Operators by Commission Chair Padway on May 28 (pictured right).
Administrative Staff met with representatives of North Shore Professional Firefighters Association to jointly discuss issues relating to improving service delivery this week. Follow-up meetings will occur in the near future to continue the discussion.
Three days of vehicle extrication training was conducted for all personnel this week.
Staff continues to work on updating the capital improvement plan for the Department as part of the 2022 Budget Process.
Congratulations to City of Brookfield Fire Chief Charlie Myers who retired this week after serving careers in the Air Force and fire service throughout Wisconsin in a variety of roles. Charlie served as Deputy Chief at North Shore from 2001-2008 (pictured right).
Fire Department Board of Directors meeting scheduled for June 8 has been cancelled. The Board's Personnel Committee will meet on the 8th however at 8 AM.
