Help Support MDA This Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day Weekend is upon us and again this year North Shore Firefighters will be collecting donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Donations support MDA Summer Camp, research, treatment and the families affected by MDA. Look for firefighters out in the community this weekend filling the boot for MDA.
Thank You For Your Service Fire Commissioner Elliott Moeser
Fire Commissioner Elliott Moeser announced his retirement from the North Shore Fire Commission this week.

Elliott has served on the Commission for twelve years. On behalf of the entire Department and the communities we serve, I want to thank Elliott for his service and leadership in many roles he has served the City of Glendale and North Shore communities.

Welcome to North Shore Fire Board of Directors
Please welcome River Hills Trustee David Fritz to the North Shore Fire Board of Directors.

David will represent the Village of River Hills on the Board.
The North Shore Fire Commission met this week and approved the following promotions, appointments and successful completion of probation.

Appointments:
Battalion Chief: Captain Brian Wisniewski

Captain: Lieutenant Jeremy Boehlke
Fire Lieutenant: FFPM Andrew Allen

Firefighter: Andrea Raykovich, Daniel Santiago, Sammy Smith and Myles Mahnke

Intern Firefighter: Michael Simonis

Completion of Probation: FFPM Zachary Brandmeier
Weekly Update
  • The Department took delivery of it's Pierce Fire Engine this week. The vehicle will be assigned to Engine 81 when it is placed in service.


  • The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet September 6 to consider the Department's 2023 Operating Budget and purchase of a fire engine and ambulance.
