Great Work
On April 1, 2021, Ambulance 85 and M81 responded to a report of a 63 year old woman with chest pain. The crews found the patient to have on-going chest pain and initiated the STEMI Protocol which included several 12 Lead ECG's, administration of an IV, nitroglycerin, and other pain medication.

The patient was transported to Ascension-Columbia St. Mary's-Ozaukee and was immediately taken to the cath lab. The patient was discharged the next day.

Responders met goals of 30 minutes or less from first contact to arrival at the emergency department. The hospital had the patient in the cath lab in 28 minutes (goal of 30) from time of arrival at the hospital and the procedure was completed in 26 minutes (goal of 30).

Great work by Lt. Peter Ziegelbauer, FF Greg Goetz, FFPM Marcus Ray and FFPM Ryan Spradlin and the staff at Ascension-Ozaukee.
