North Shore Fire/Rescue Weekly Update

  • Bayside Village Board and Glendale City Council approved the Single/Multi-Year Capital Budget for 2021-2025 this week. Brown Deer has already approved. Chief Whitaker will attend the Shorewood and Whitefish Bay Village Board Meetings as they consider the resolution for approval.


  • The Department is participating in the first round of user acceptance testing for Tellus Cad to Cad Software this week.


  • Administrative Monthly Staff Meeting was held on Tuesday. The staff reviewed the nine recommendations that were submitted as part of the CFAI Accreditation Report and was provided an update on the status of Glendale Station 82 Remodel/Replacement Project.

  • Staff continues to review Firefighter Candidate Background Check Reports this week.



North Shore Fire Rescue Flashback

From 1995 to 2003 this 1989 Ford Ambulance served the North Shore Fire Department with various assignments.

Prior to the 1995 consolidation of the seven municipal fire departments, this vehicle served the Village of River Hills Fire Department.
