The Fire Commission met this week to approve the hiring of Michael Simonis as a Firefighter effective September 19 and promotion protocols for Assistant Chief and Battalion Chief. The Commission also welcomed new Fire Commissioner Suzanne Hotz who represents the City of Glendale.
Construction for Fire Station 82 Bidding documents are available for contractors to begin submitting bids. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 26. Bids are due the following week.
Staff and Bayside Communications Center are preparing for implementation of Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) next week.
Bayside Communications Center staff presented information on EMD to the Fox Point Village Board at it's meeting on Tuesday evening.
