Attention Department Members
Weekly Update



  • Next week the Department begins a month long training cycle with Milwaukee Fire Department on fire suppression operations that require water to be trucked in by water tender. These types of operations most often occur in areas of communities without municipal fire hydrants. The Department is instructing the program for the Milwaukee Fire Department.

  • Congratulations to Heavy Equipment Operators Scott Smith and Tyler Vahsholtz for successfully completing their probationary period in the rank of Heavy Equipment Operator.

  • The Fire Commission met this week and approved the completion of probation for HEOs Smith and Vahsholtz and adopted protocols and announcements for promotional testing for the ranks of Fire and EMS Lieutenant.
Attention Employees: MiPay Site Downtime
TIMING
A new version of miPay will be released on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. As a result, the site will not be available from 8:00 pm – 12:00 am. No action is needed on your part. This version will automatically appear when you login on or after June 30, 2021. Please notify employees of this outage.
MOBILE APP UPDATE
This update requires an update to those utilizing the miPay mobile app for Apple or Android. If automatic updates are turned on, the update will automatically install. For any employees experiencing issues with the mobile app on or after June 30, 2021, please ask them to install the latest update. Most likely they do not have automatic updates turned on.

Farewell to Bayside PD Lt. Miller
Join the Bayside Police Department in wishing Lieutenant Eric Miller farewell on Monday July 12 from 5-9 PM at Sobelman's North Shore Pub in Mequon. Lt. Miller has accepted a position as Police Chief in Sheboygan Falls. RSVP required. Formal invite can be found here.
