Weekly Update
  • The significant snowfall on Tuesday caused three different motor vehicle crashes with injuries on I-43. The Department responded to the three accidents around 5 AM.
  • Administrative Chief Staff met virtually with two of the three 24-hour operational shifts this week to address goals and objectives for 2021 and to discuss current issues in the Department. The final shift meeting will occur next week.
  • All personnel who expressed a desire to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine have received their first of two shots, expect for two personnel that are managing scheduling conflicts, but will get the first shot shortly.
  • Fire Department Board Meeting is scheduled for February 9.
  • Next scheduled Fire Commission meeting is February 8.
