Congratulations Lt. Juga

Congratulations to Lieutenant Dan Juga on his retirement from the North Shore Fire Department. Dan retired this week after over 27 years of service.

A small, socially distanced retirement ceremony was held to honor Dan on December 9. We wish him many happy, healthy years in retirement!

Weekly Update

Welcome to new Fire Commissioner Ari Friedman who will represent the Village of Bayside on the Fire Commission.
Fire Department Board of Directors met December 8. The meeting packet is available here. Mr. Friedman's appointment was confirmed by the Bayside Village Board in November. Ari is the Director of Security and Community Properties for the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
Fire Commission will meet on December 16.
Staff continues to monitor status of COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution. The State is expected to make a final decision on vaccine priority next week.
