Big Change to Eagle Palms.
What are the changes?
Eagle Palms are bronze, gold and silver awards presented to young men who earn 5, 10, or 15 or more merit badges beyond the 21 required to become an Eagle Scout.
Effective August 1, 2017
1. A Scout can earn all Eagle Palms he has earned for metrit badges completed before his Eagle board of review along side his Eagle medal. (No longer waiting 3 months between each Palm)
2. The tree-month tenure requirement has been expanded to allow active participation in any BSA program - not just the troop and patrol.
3. The leadership requirement has been broadened to include
epting responsibility" as well as "demonstrating leadership."
4. The Eagle Palm board of review has been eliminated
