District Awards

Jason and Nichole Wasden were awarded their Woodbadge beads at Roundtable November 8th. Congratulations and thanks for all your hard work in the Scouting Program!

Wood Badge is Scouting's premier training course. Baden-Powell designed it so that Scouters could learn, in as practical a way possible, the skills and methods of Scouting. It is first and foremost, learning by doing. The members of the course are formed into patrols and these into a troop.  The entire troop lives in the out-of-doors for a week, camping, cooking their own meals, and practicing Scout skills.

How do I do that?

I have heard about Scoutbook but I am not sure its for us.  Where do I find answers about Scoutbook?  Also, has Scoutbook incorporated the changes made in November?

From the first knot tied to final hours of service performed, the Scouting experience is a journey like no other.  Scoutbook ensures not a moment is missed - tracking advancement, milestone achievements and all the fun along the way.
