Last week our NW District celebrated Spring with almost 70 club members attending our Spring meeting. Blake & Fletcher Reynolds, sons of Ursula Reynolds opened up our meeting and reminded us what it takes to be a volunteer, followed by Tina Daniel, Kim Sekulow, Sarah Richardson of Wellspring Living and Angie Ulibarri of Festival of Trees. Arts Chair, Joyce Broughton created a wonderful PowerPoint presentation which showcased our Member & Student art pieces beautifully, and our Awards Chair Gretchen Butler hosted our Awards Presentation by video as she handed out awards in the form of chocolate Easter eggs and Bunnies. And in closing, Cindy Tisdale, our memorial chair presented a special live Memorial Ceremony honoring friends who are no longer with us. I sincerely appreciate my Executive Committee’s hard work in making this District Meeting a success. Another person I must thank is Ladenia Jewell, she was the machine behind the scenes as she uploaded all of our videos and took care of our IT needs. If you missed our meeting, you can view it here: https://youtu.be/uQ0po0frXKQ

Our District donated and raised over a half million dollars and volunteered 59,600 hours in your communities. At the end of the day your communities were the winners as you organized 686 projects and helped your communities during a very difficult season. The world is run by those who show up, and once again our North West District Showed Up and Love Grows Here! I'm very thankful to be surrounded by so many kind and hard working ladies. I can't wait to see what you do in 2021!
