Everett Samuel Dowdy was baptized yesterday during worship. We rejoice with Samuel and his family on this significant milestone!

Safe travels to the group of children who are participating in EcoCamp at Ferncliff Presbyterian Camp this year. The camp gives children a summer camp experience in which to learn about the environment and how to be a friend to God’s creation. Thank you to Kathy McCarron for giving the children a ride to camp. We are excited about this wonderful summer experience available to our children.

This summer 11 students and 5 adult leaders will make the two-day drive to Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. They will spend the week together in fellowship, worship, doing service activities, and taking advantage of the remote location of northern New Mexico. Anxious to leave the stress of the past school year and the one ahead, the youth are encouraged to embrace a period of unplugging and immersing themselves in God’s creation.

They appreciate prayers for safe travels and that this will be a time of renewal for these young people. The group will leave Saturday, July 23, and return Saturday, July 30.

We are so appreciative to the volunteers who helped serve lunch last week at Second Chance Café, a homeless recovery center in downtown Dallas.

In August, NorthPark will begin to serve lunch monthly on the 3rd Tuesday. We hope you will join us next time!
