At 9 p.m. this Thursday, August 24, I-71/75 northbound will be reduced to a single lane across the Brent Spence Bridge, weather permitting. This closure will allow crews to complete work on the western-most lanes and transition the northbound (lower) deck back to a four-lane travel configuration.
Travel on all four northbound lanes will resume no later than 5 a.m. Friday, August 25.
Also this week, crews will begin restoring access ramps that were closed as part of the Brent Spence Bridge maintenance project. The ramps will open according to the following schedule:
Thursday, August 24, by 5 a.m.:
- I-71/US 50 ramp to I-71/75 South (via Fort Washington Way)
- 3rd Street ramp in Cincinnati to I-71/75 South
- I-71/75 South to Erlanger/KY 236 Exits 184, 184A, and 184B
Friday, August 25, by 5 a.m.:
- 4th Street ramp in Covington to I-71/75 North
