Join the Chamber community on March 7 as we honor our 2022 Business Award winners, recognize new Board leadership, and preview plans for the coming year. Our Annual Meeting will be a festive social evening at the Hilton Chicago - Northbrook, featuring a grazing menu and cocktails. Award presentations will follow the cocktail hour while attendees enjoy dessert.
“We are planning an in-person event that allows our members to enjoy time together while we pay tribute to our award winners, Grill House, Saf-T-Gard, and Gail Eisenberg,” explains Chamber President Tensley Garris.

Saf-T-Gard Stands Up for Community
For many Northbrook residents, Saf-T-Gard International, Inc. may not be a household name even after 43 years as a local business. However, Village leaders and area charities know that Saf-T-Gard and the family behind it are always ready to lend a hand. Their commitment to the community has grown even stronger during the pandemic, making them a deserving choice for the 2022 Corporate Citizen of the Year.

Business of the Year Grill House Builds Customer Loyalty
Some businesses become local favorites over the course of many years; others swiftly reach that status. Grill House may be a fairly recent addition to Northbrook’s restaurant scene, but it has built an outstandingly loyal customer base through their multi-platform marketing, community outreach, and something-for-everyone menu. Their success in navigating the challenges of the pandemic offers lessons for all kinds of businesses and makes them a natural selection for the Business of the Year Award.

Gail Eisenberg – and her famous brownies – are among the most recognizable and popular attendees at any Chamber event. As one of our most engaged Ambassadors, Gail is a reliable presence welcoming new members and guests at First Friday breakfasts, Women in Business lunches, and Business After Hours events. She also carries that positive message to potential members throughout the community. The Volunteer of the Year Award acknowledges her enthusiasm and outreach on behalf of the organization. Read More
