Northbrook Trustees have approved a $10.5 million agreement to sell the former Grainger property on Shermer Road to developer Lennar Multifamily Communities. Northbrook will soon have a Starbucks location near downtown, following approval of zoning relief by the Village Board. The coffee shop with drive-thru service will be built on the site of the former Mobil gas station on the southeast corner of Shermer and Waukegan Roads, along with two attached retail/service businesses.
