Northeast Leadership Forum Newsletter
JULY 2018
Greetings from your new NLF Chair, Jim Griffin:
Let's Continue to Stay Focused, Engaged and Intentional

July means the 4th of July, the winding down of vacation time and the approach of one of my favorites: Leadership programs. Northeast Tarrant County is blessed to be home to seven local chambers of commerce which each believe strongly in grooming their future generation of leaders.
Please see the section below with contact information for each of the leadership programs in our area. You can then consider who from your company needs to be introduced to an outstanding experience that can raise their value to your organization and our community.
One of Northeast Leadership Forum's two main events is well into the planning stages. I appreciate Dr. Allen Goben taking the lead in planning this year's Heart of North Texas Conference, which will focus greatly on technology issues that face us as businesses and individuals. This event always generates insights that amaze us.
You will want to attend our August 14 breakfast -- it's just two weeks away -- to learn the depth of issues we face as a community in how Child Protective Services addresses so many critical issues regarding an extremely vulnerable population. We each need to understand the depth of this subject.
I thank our chair-elect, Vanessa Copeland, for identifying another timely topic that identifies needs in Northeast Tarrant County.
Please read about one of our emerging leaders, Kelly Biegler with Atmos Energy. She chairs the HEB Chamber of Commerce and is active throughout our area.
Enjoy your remaining vacation time, and I look forward to seeing you at breakfast on August 14. I want to continue to thank to each of you for your commitment and passion to the region, to NLF and to identifying and encouraging new leaders in Northeast Tarrant County and with NLF.
I want to continue to thank each of you for your commitment and passion to the region, to NLF and to identifying and encouraging new leaders in Northeast Tarrant County and with NLF.  If I can help in any way, always feel free to reach out to me at 817-456-7862 or [email protected].
