    • This grant offers funding for costs associated with the exhibition, performance, or production of a creative work; purchase of materials or equipment necessary for a creative work; educational opportunities; mentorships; and proposals for career-enhancing projects or opportunities. We are pleased to announce the following recipients of our
 
Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grant:


Brian Dow received $956 to buy equipment and create prints of his paintings.

Lavender Hunt was awarded $1,000 to purchase supplies and materials to create traditional Anishinaabe apparel pieces and beaded jewelry.

Pamela Iceman received $971 to create a series of purses, wallets, and medallions.

Jacob McArthur was awarded $1,000 to create a photography series called Springtime on the White Earth Reservation.

Advanced Digital Photography Workshop: Winter Wonderland

Professional photographer Janet Nelson is the instructor. Bring your camera, extra battery and/or charger, camera manual, a tripod if you have one, and also a snack. Dress warmly to be outdoors. For ages 12 and up.
