Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Fellowship

Application due: March 1, 2017
Award amount: $5,000
Available to Indigenous artists who are at least 18 years old and have been practicing their art for at least five years. Must live in Beltrami, Clearwater,  Hubbard, Mahnomen, Lake of the Woods, Becker, Roseau, Cass, or Itasca counties in Minnesota.




Young Artist Grants

Application due: March 15, 2017
Award amount: up to $600
The Young Artist Grant provides 8th-12th grade students the opportunity to study one-on-one with a practicing professional artist, or attend an arts workshop, class, or camp in the state of Minnesota. Must live in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Mahnomen, or Lake of the Woods counties in Minnesota.




Quick Grants for Individuals

Application due: March 15, 2017
Award amount: up to $500
This grant offers funding for workshops, conferences and training opportunities, or to provide funding for arts projects or activities that have not been previously funded by R2AC. Individual artists residing in Beltrami, Hubbard, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen Counties may apply for up to  $ 500 . Funded projects must be completed within six months of the grant award date.
 



Quick Grants for Organizations

Application due: March 15, 2017
Award amount: up to $1000
This grant offers funding for workshops, conferences and training opportunities, or to provide funding for arts projects or activities that have not been previously funded by R2AC. Organizations may apply for up to  $1,000  to fund projects that would benefit the residents of Beltrami, Hubbard, Clearwater, Lake of the Woods, or Mahnomen Counties. Projects must be completed within six months of the grant award date.

Artists invited to submit button designs

Deadline for  submissions is March 31

The Park Rapids Downtown Business Association is sponsoring a 2nd Street Stage button design contest with a $250 cash prize to the winner. Please draw your design within a 4-inch circle. Designs must include "2017," "2nd St Stage" and "Park Rapids, MN." They may be full color or black and white with color accents. Please remember this is a fun, summer, live music event.
