St. John's Artist Series- Switchback



The St. John’s Artist Series welcomes Switchback on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

Switchback’s Everly Brothers-like harmonies and skillful musical mastery of the mandolin and guitar are matched only by the profound depth of their lyrics. Bring the whole family and hear for yourself how Switchback hits an “everybody” note. 

This program will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 215 S. Lincoln, Lombard, IL, 60148. No tickets are required. Admission is free.

Service of Lessons and Carols

Concordia University Chicago, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest, IL, 60305, will present its annual Service of Lessons & Carols on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Our Lord. The Christmas services are a beloved tradition, featuring scripture readings, choral music, and congregational singing. Pre-service music begins 20 minutes prior to the start of each performance.

These free, interactive workshops are designed to give you the confidence to make “healthy” a way of life.
