NID Singles Luncheon
Lutheran Singles Association Board (NID) is inviting anyone who wants to join them for lunch the day of their board meeting, February 26, 2022, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Timothy O'Tooles, 5572 Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031.

Come meet other NID Singles and the LSA Board. We will do individual checks (so you pay for yourself). The building is ADA compliant - no stairs, and they have a room that holds up to 40 people.

Respite Retreats for All Teachers and Commissioned Ministers
DOXOLOGY is now providing respite retreats for all teachers and Commissioned Ministers currently serving in the LCMS. These retreats are fully funded by the LCMS Office of National Mission; there is no cost for participants to attend! Workers have labored tirelessly to serve faithfully throughout and beyond COVID challenges. They have responded with skill and grace to countless student, parent, and parishioners’ needs.

Life Ministry Million Dollar Life Match
The people of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) love children and families, and they demonstrate this love through many acts of mercy in their communities.

To support these local pro-life efforts — both big and small — the LCMS will offer $1 million in matching grants to LCMS congregations, starting in 2022.
Opportunity to Register as an Advisory Delegate
The LCMS Northern Illinois District Convention affords an opportunity for worship, nurture, inspiration, fellowship, and the communication of vital information as it relates to our District and Synod.

The District Convention will be held March 11 - 12, 2022, and all commissioned and ordained workers who are not registered as voting delegates are encouraged to attend as advisory delegates.

St. John's Lutheran School has a position open for school secretary starting January 2022. This is a full time, 12 month position. They are seeking a candidate who loves the Lord and is passionate about children. Must be proficient in computer skills, learn and manage school software programs, be familiar with Microsoft, Word, and Google programs, and support principal and teachers in various capacities. This candidate must have a friendly personality and good communication skills.
