150 Year Anniversary Celebration
Zion Lutheran Church, 5865 S Archer Road, Summit, will celebrate 150 years at a special 3:00 p.m. service on October 24, 2021 with a dinner to follow if State guidelines permit.
175th Anniversary Concert Series
First Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1301 North LaSalle Drive, Chicago, will have its first concert in a series celebrating its 175th anniversary on Sunday, October 24, 2021, 2:00 pm. Jazz It Up - Voice of Care Benefit
Voice of Care invites all to Jazz It Up on Friday, November 5, 2021, with a benefit concert featuring Andy Tecson and the Church Jazz Ensemble at Grace Lutheran Church, River Forest. A VIP Ticket ($50) admits one PLUS allows a Very Important Person with special needs to attend the event. General Admission tickets are $40. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the concert begins at 7:00 p.m., and a reception follows. All proceeds benefit the ministry of Voice of Care, equipping churches to embrace, empower and engage people who experience disabilities in inclusive Christian discipleship.
New Online Leader Training
Stephen Ministries St. Louis is now training caring ministry leaders through a live, interactive online training experience called the Bridge Leader’s Training Course (BLTC). This event fully trains Stephen Leaders—the pastors, church staff, and lay leaders who begin and lead Stephen Ministry in their congregation.
Gathering Updates
The Northern Illinois District Coordinators will be hosting an event for all Primary Adult Leaders on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Roselle's Community Center, 233 E Maple Avenue, Roselle, IL. We will be sharing some general information along with important updates, a Q&A panel discussion, and the opportunity to connect with other.
District Event - Save the Date

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Campus Ministry works through LCMS U, an initiative to connect and support Lutheran students as they head off to college and face countless challenges to their biblical worldview, doctrine, ethics and practices.
