Northern Johnson County Transit Plan Offers Road Map for Improved Connectivity

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization, which is the designated MPO for Johnson County, publicly released a study and findings for public transit in northern Johnson County. Aspire collaborated with the Indy MPO as a convener of stakeholders and offered perspective on transit needs. This Transit Plan outlines existing transportation trends and explores potential transportation type and network goals. The plan offers a tiered approach to potential networks and explores three key areas – existing services, expanded services and access to current and future employment opportunities. 
 
New Sewer Pipeline to Spur Development in Northwest Johnson County

The soon-to-be-completed major sanitary sewer pipeline in White River Township will alleviate pressure on the current system and accommodate future growth. The approximately $70 million project is expected to be completed on schedule and under budget. Read more about what this will mean for fast-growing northwest Johnson County.
Sarnova Selects Greenwood for Expansion

Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance announced that Sarnova HC, LLC, will expand to Greenwood to increase their Midwest presence. Sarnova, an Ohio-based medical supply corporation, plans to develop a new distribution center in Greenwood near Allen and Collins Roads. The company received a tax abatement for their investment of $8.5 million in logistics equipment.
