Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper corresponding to him.” Genesis 2:28 (ESV)
This Sunday we will celebrate the gift of our mothers. Everything in creation was “good,” according to God’s evaluation. Until he observed man dwelling in creation all alone. All other creatures that reproduced were simply told to be fruitful and multiply. But he pulls back the vantage point on humans and reveals a process …and a purpose. It is, The Gift of Woman.
