We hope you’re enjoying a fantastic summer. As we prepare to kick off the school year, this message includes key information to help ensure a smooth transition for your child to Northley.

Throughout the year, we’ll send a weekly newsletter with news, updates, highlights, and helpful reminders to keep you informed and connected.

Information Day Schedule

• Thursday August 21, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Students during Information Day

• Receive class schedule and team assignment*
• School Picture Day - Barksdale Registration Link - coming soon
• Sign, along with your parent/guardian, the Technology Acceptable Use Policy
• Meet Ms. Genovese - Northley's Athletic Director
• Chat with several Northley and PDSD staff members, including building administrators and Mr. Snyder, our Secondary Supervisor of Special Education.
• Walk through your class schedule route
• Check and practice your locker combination
• *Note - if you are unable to attend in-person, class schedules are available to view in Skyward after 3:00 PM on Friday, August 22

Parents/Guardians during Information Day

• Visit the Northley Nurse
• Hand in your Nurse's Emergency information card and any additional required health forms.
• 6th grade - physical is required
• 7th grade - dental exam paperwork is required
• Give the Nurse any medicine to be distributed to your student during the school day.
• Fill out and return required paperwork
• Nurse's card and the Technology Acceptable Use Policy
• 7th & 8th Athletes participating in Fall Sports hand in the PIAA Physical Forms
• Sign up and join the PTL - Parent Teacher League

• Thursday, August 21 - Information Day and School Picture Day
• Friday, August 22 - Student Schedules available in Skyward
• Tuesday, September 2 - First Day of School - 6th Grade Only
• Wednesday, September 3 - First Day of School -All Students
• Wednesday, September 3 - Makeup School Picture Day
• Wednesday, September 10 - Northley PTL Meeting
• Tuesday, September 16 - Back to School Night
• Friday, September 26 - Half Day (10:48 AM Dismissal)
