Hello Northley Families
We had a tremendous start to May at Northley this week. Thank you to the PTL for helping us to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. The staff appreciates your support and kindness.
Northley’s National Junior Honor Society held its induction ceremony Wednesday night. Thank you to the families who came out to celebrate our new members. The 8th grade student leaders did a fantastic job running the event. We were able to film the event and it will be available on the website. We will announce when it is available for viewing. The list of 2021 Inductees is below in the newsletter.
Our 2021 musical “Schoolhouse Rock, Jr.” will be available virtually on May 20, 21 and 22. See the link below to purchase your tickets.
Monday, May 10, our 6, 7 & 8 grade Reading Olympics teams will be competing in the Delco IU Virtual County event. Good luck to our Viking Readers!
The MathCon finals competition was postponed due to technical difficulties last weekend. Our three competitors, Ben Di Pasquale, Kiera Wilkerson and AJ Stone had to wait until this weekend to compete in the National Finals. Good luck Mathletes!
Our Scholastic Book Fair will be running until Friday, May 16th. Use this link to view the many selections available.
Much more to do in this last month at the best middle school in Delco.

Counselors Corner
Is your child interested in possibly attending the Delaware County Technical High School while at Sun Valley? Most programs are offered to juniors and seniors but it is NEVER TOO EARLY to start planning. There are many PROFESSIONAL programs available. Parents are welcome to attend an information session offered by the technical high school on Fridays I would say it is for parents that want to get more information about the technical high school. Below is the link for the event.
