NORTHMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH NEWSLETTER

Barb is... FLYING AWAY!
Last November I learned that a group from my church was being formed for a tour of Israel. I signed up and have been preparing for the trip since last December. Time has passed quickly and I will be leaving on Labor Day, September 2.
I will be out of the office until Monday, September 16. Tina Young, Calvary's Office Manager, will step in to help with some of the office work, however, this will be an EXPANDED newsletter in order to cover events during my absence. You won't be seeing another newsletter until September 19.

I would appreciate your prayers for the safety of our group.

MINISTRY of the NORTHMINSTER FAMILY

PERSONNEL COMMITTEE
NEWS
Starting September 1, Pastor Holmes will be filling in a few hours a week as the temporary pastoral supply for Calvary.
In that position, he will be performing the duties of an interim pastor while Calvary's pastor nominating committee continues to meet and deliberate on a permanent solution to replace Mike Baker.

This will provide Calvary with steady leadership during this transition, much like we have received in the past. There will be no changes here at Northminster. We ask that you keep Rich and Calvary in your prayers.
