JUST A REMINDER!
Please continue to support Northminster
with your giving in two ways:

(1) Mail in your offerings.
or
(2) Simply click the DONATE tab located on the website.
There is a link to the website in the heading of the newsletter.

Pastor Rich will dedicate your offerings to God
each week during the virtual service.
A NOTE from the
STEWARDSHIP and FISCAL
PLANNING COMMITTEE
As you make plans to donate a portion of your income to God's work at North-minster, you should be aware of how the tax laws have changed for 2020.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the federal government has decided to make a change in how you can deduct your charitable giving from your taxes.

In the past, you could write off charitable giving on your income taxes, but only if you itemize your deductions. For your 2020 taxes, however, this has changed. You are now able to deduct up to $300 from your taxes for charitable giving even if you do not itemize.

Since donations to churches are considered charitable giving, this means you may deduct up to $300 of your giving to Northminster from your taxes regardless of whether you itemize or not.

We hope you will consider this benefit as you make plans to donate your tithes and offerings this year. As always, we thank you for your generosity in helping Northminster's mission and ministry.

Blessings,

Jeff Weltman
Chair, Stewardship and Fiscal Planning Committee

FEDERAL CARES ACT
