Going into senior year, her degree is a four-year program, but she will be graduating early in December instead of May. She is studying at Kent State University and She and Liam occasionally run into each other. She’s the current vice president of Kent State’s video game club. With her excellent grades, she
Has made the dean’s list the last four semesters. After graduation, Syd is not entirely sure what is in store. She would like to go into forensic behavior analysis.
The Scholarship Committee and congregation wish you much success.
The question Syd chose was: What’s one time when you knew God was working in your life?
Below is a brief outtake:
God has shown me many times how he has been working in my life. The most noteworthy time that I’ve noticed God working in my life is during my overall college career.
I was considering dropping out due to the high stress and not fully knowing my place. During my time of reconsidering my college career, something was telling me to continue attending. I believe that something was God telling me to keep attending. With this, I decided to listen to God and keep attending college. Since I made that decision, my grades have improved. Seeing as my grades have improved, I believe that staying in college was the correct decision and God was my key motivator. Not only this, I have also met some truly amazing people while in college. If I had dropped out of college I wouldn’t have known how I can improve and change myself, not only as a friend and peer, but as a person.
