UPDATE from PASTOR JIM
Hello, everyone! I am one week post surgery and looking forward to beginning rehab today. My dis-comfort level is minimal but the therapist may change that! In their hands my discomfort will hopefully be a positive sign.
As of today I am unable to definitely commit to a return date. Soon. If my desire to be back with you had control of my body it would be VERY soon. But I shall return. You are a congregation of generous and gracious people. Be kind to each other and always know that God will give you the strength needed to carry out the work of your faith.

Blessings,
Pastor Jim

GOT COOKIES?
We need to create a volunteer list of folks who are willing to BAKE or BUY cookies (or desserts) for our upcoming Fellowship Hours. The more volunteers we have the better. Marsha will call you in advance to get you scheduled prior to the need.
Remember, if many participate no one person is overly burdened. Call or email the church office to get your name on the list.

Note from Barb: Yesterday, after searching through photos
of cookies I had to buy one at lunch time! I never met a cookie I didn't like.
FELLOWSHIP HOUR
Now that things are getting back to normal, we would like to restart our fellowship hour this Fall after morning worship.
In order to do so we need some volunteers to prepare for it and to staff it. If you are willing to help in this ministry of hospitality, please contact the church office.

Marsha Mossgrove, Debbie Spies and Sherry Jacobsen have come forward to help. We need one more volunteer. Is it you?
