Memorial Day Weekend Service @ NP2

May 28, 2023 at 10:00am

NP2 | 4529 Purnell Rd, Wake Forest NC

THIS coming Sunday, May 28 (Memorial Day Weekend), NP will have a special family service at NP2 (NOT at River Bend Middle) at 10:00am that day! Kids and adults alike will gather together in the sanctuary for the worship service.

Then make plans to stay after for lunch in the Community Building, yard games, and more!

For lunch, the church will provide drinks and pulled chicken & pork.

NP family members are asked to bring a side and/or dessert to share!

We will set it all up buffet style in the Community Building, and food items can be dropped there before or after service.

***Please avoid foods with major allergens like nuts, or eggs in whole form (deviled eggs or hardboiled, etc)***

We can't wait to worship and celebrate with you this weekend!

We're raising money for this year's mission trip to Nicaragua with a church wide indoor yard sale! Do you have items that are new or gently used that you don't need or want anymore? Donate them to us! You get unwanted/

unneeded items out of your house, we get to include those items in the Yard Sale and make money to build houses for families in Nicaragua, and items not sold will go to Salvation Army to further bless and help others. Win/win/win!

Some are ongoing, some are topical, some are short-term or series based. There is something for everyone. Various times, locations, schedules. Check it out and find a group for you today!

Every Other Wednesday @ 12:15PM

For the past four years, Northpark has partnered with The Oaks Community and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to host a bi-weekly Mobile Market and provide FREE food for anyone in our community that needs it. Local grocers and farms donate produce, meat, bread, desserts, dry goods, and more, and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle delivers these donations to The Oaks neighborhood (near Sanderson High School) every other week. A team of volunteers (that's us!) helps unload the donation boxes, organize the foods, and then pre-packs large boxes with various foods for those who stop by. The truck typically arrives around 12:15PM on it's scheduled weeks and the unpacking/sorting is typically done between 1:30-2:00PM.
