Greetings Northshore Tigers,
This 2021-2022 school year will be a new start for all of us. However, I am committed to keeping the staff and scholars healthy and safe while we navigate through these uncharted waters once again. I know it’s been a tough decision to make on letting your child learn in person with all of the uncertainties during this time. Please note, communication between home and school is critical, especially during a time when circumstances can change overnight. Rest assured, we are following all CDC guidelines and our school has been well sanitized and has all of the appropriate PPE.
The Northshore staff has worked extremely hard and endured hours of professional development as part of our commitment to excellence and high-quality instruction. Our goal is to close the learning loss gaps that occurred last school year. We are all on fire to give our scholars the very best we have to offer.
I thank each and every one of you for attending our 1st Annual Back to School Block Party. It was a success! Thanks to all of the businesses that participated or donated to make it a fun and meaningful event for our families.
We want to bring the “Wow Factor” this year. We already had an awesome Back to School Pep Rally where we announced our first students of the week and our crew member for the month of August! Congratulations Ms. Jasmine Foy! Stay tuned for our Coffee with the Principal and other events that will be in September.
Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions, concerns, or ideas you’d like to discuss. Once again, welcome back! I am ecstatic about the GREATNESS that is going to happen this year at the Rhodes School for the Performing Arts!
