Northside Park Construction Update
If you've been to Northside Park or the Senior Recreation Center recently you're aware that work to improve the park is in full swing. We will continue to keep you informed about the project's progress so you'll know what to expect on your next visit.
As part of the parking lot expansion work, approximately 8 parking spaces will be blocked off for the next few days for drainage upgrades.
Please be assured that the stormwater pond near the parking area of Northside Park will not be impacted. The pond, which houses a wonderful abundance of wildlife, has been protected so that the habitat will not be disturbed.
Water is being pumped only from an underground stormwater structure which lies beneath the parking lot.
The Senior Recreation Center will remain open during this time.
