Informational Meeting

The Northside Family Advocate Ministry (FAM) exists to provide hope for vulnerable children and families by being the hands and feet of Jesus. What is Hope 1418? Hope 1418 comes from the verse John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

A FAM is a group of trained volunteers who serve families in Foster Care. We are currently serving a family in the process of adopting 3 special siblings and help provide needs as well as services to that family.

We'd love for you to join us and find out more of what we do!

We are partnering with the Floyd County Sheriff's Office & RomeGA Cares.

We are collecting the following items:

cases of bottled water

non-perishable food items (boxed or cased)

work gloves

large trash bags

*Drop off Sundays or Wednesday or during business hours*

RomeGA Cares is needing some helping hands this week in Swainsboro, GA and Valdosta, GA. They will leave town at 9:00 am Tuesday, 10/1 (tomorrow) and will be back on Thursday, 10/3.

The main need is to help distribute cases of water and supplies to the local areas. Those with trucks would be a big help in getting supplies distributed.
