InshaAllah this email finds you in the best of health and iman. We want to extend our sincere gratitude for your flexibility and patience during this challenging time. The health and wellbeing of our students, families, and staff are of utmost importance to us.
As we shared earlier, Northstar School will not be conducting in-person classes through the end of our regularly scheduled Spring Break. Our teaching staff is working diligently to modify our academic program to
a distance learning model
so that we can continue to provide a productive and enriching educational experience to our students.
March 17 between 9:00am and 12:00pm
staff members will be on-site for families to come to the school to pick up essential books and materials. Please note that the recent
issued for Alameda County permits individuals to
travel to or from educational institutions for purposes of receiving materials for distance learning
Teachers will communicate assignments and due dates specific to your child's grade. During this transitional week, assignments will be communicated by email from your homeroom teacher. Beginning the week of March 23, we will be using online tools like
as resources to communicate and facilitate learning as appropriate for your child's grade.
Please understand that these are unprecedented times and we ask for your patience as we navigate this journey together. We understand that nothing can replace the interaction between students and teachers in the classroom, but we will do our best to partner with families to ensure continuity of learning for our students during this closure. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
May Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, protect us, our families, and our community at large.
