TOWNSHIP PARTNERS WITH ITC TO HELP LOCAL ORGANIZATION
Our very own Township Supervisor, Robert Nix II, graciously accepted a $2,000 check from Julie Garavaglia of ITC: A Fortis Company, this week to assist our local community. Additionally, Northville Township staff donated $2,850 as part of a causal day fund. Northville Township was able to combine the amounts to give Civic Concern $4,850 to purchase food for families in need right here in Northville.
Not familiar with Northville Civic Concern? Northvile Civic Concern is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1983 by a group of concerned citizens to benefit the needy of our community.  Their primary purpose is to provide food to those in need. Food is distributed on the second and fourth Fridays of each month.
They are a licensed, not-for-profit organization offering temporary services to those who qualify and live in Northville or Northville Township school districts. They are currently assisting over 140 families in Northville.

How can you help? They are in need of the following items:
  • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towel, facial tissues)
  • Soap (dish, face, shampoo, conditioner)
  • Baby items (diapers, wipes, formula, baby food)
  • non-perishable food items
Items can be dropped off during business hours or call 248.344.1033 to arrange a time . For more information, please visit the  Northville Civic Concern web-site.
