The Charter Township of Northville is a vibrant, safe and attractive community. The perfect place to live, work and play! This e-newsletter is another way for you to stay connected to what's happening in your community!
TOWNSHIP OFFICES ARE OPEN
A COVID-19 Update

The welcome mat is out at Northville Township. After Township Hall was closed to foot traffic in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, our staff is looking forward to connecting, engaging and serving the community.

Our new self-check temperature screening kiosk —we named it Clyde —is ready to greet you at the front entrance of Township Hall, as a temperature check and mask are required for entry. To use, stop in front of the screen and let the contactless thermometer measure your body temperature. The scanner will show your results and tell you if it is normal or elevated. If it is elevated, please return to your vehicle and call us at (248) 348-5800.

This temperature station is one of many ways Northville Township is helping you stay safe. If you prefer, the Township drive-thru window and 24/7 drop box are open. They are located on the west side of the building, closer to the Six Mile Road entrance.

Our electronic billing payment service offers more options than ever before. You may pay your water bill online, by phone or by text. A c onvenience fee of $3.95 is applied to all credit card transactions; no fee is applied for electronic check or savings transactions. Go to www.twp.northville.mi.us/pay to get started.

PARK PLAYGROUNDS TO BE SANITIZED
ON MONDAY EVENINGS

The playgrounds at our Northville Parks are being disinfected and sanitized weekly, thanks to Northville Township Firefighters Charity Fund.

They organized the service through MI Sanitize, which will post a sign at the playground upon completion.

Some questions you may have:

Is there a restriction for how long people need to stay off any of the playgrounds following the process? The answer is no, the playground is safe to use right after the application process. If you are at one of the playgrounds and they arrive, they will inform anyone at the park who they are and ask you to leave the playground until the service is complete.
Is there a set schedule when this will occur? Yes, the company will try their best to start on Mondays at 6pm (weather depending) and will rotate through the parks.
Is this sanitization safe for my child? Yes, the company uses a high-quality botanical disinfectant which is non-toxic and safe for children.

Northville Parks and Recreation still recommends to follow the CDC guidelines: social distancing, masks and the use of hand sanitizer after play. The NTFFCF's goal is to provide peace of mind for Northville families and have the opportunity for the children in the community to get outside and play.

Thank you again to NTFFCF.
