FIREWORKS ORDINANCE REMINDER
Fireworks can be fun (but also noisy and scary for some in our community). This summer, we are asking for you to be a considerate neighbor and follow the fireworks ordinance. You may only use fireworks the day before, the day of or the day after a major holiday between 8am and midnight. If you have questions or need assistance, please call our Police Department at (248) 349-9400.
NO WATER AND SEWER RATE INCREASE FOR 2019 IN NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP
Northville Township sends out a water and sewer rate information sheet each June with the Water and Sewer bills that breaks down the charges and explains the increase in water and sewer rates. However, for the first time in over two decades, there was no increase to either water or sewer rates. How is this possible? The Township, with the assistance of consultants and a working committee comprised of residents and business representatives evaluated the existing rate structure, alternative rate structures and opportunities for rate reduction. As a result, the Township pursued available cost saving options and effective July 1, 2019, there will be no change/increase to water and sewer rates for Northville Township. To read more about the Water and Sewer rate process, please visit: twp.northville.mi.us/waterreport.
