CLERKS OFFICE OFFERING EXTENDED HOURS
The Clerks Office is offering extended hours to residents on Tuesdays in October. The office will be open from 8am to 6pm on Tuesday, October 2, 9 and 16. Please note that October 9th is the last day to register to vote for the November 6, 2018 general election. The Clerks Office will also be open on Saturday, November 3 from 9am to 2pm.

The ballots, for voters requesting an absentee, will be mailed on September 28, 2018. Ballots, by law, cannot be forwarded. If you are not going to be at your registered address, you must notify the Clerks Department at 248.662.0541 where to send your ballot if you did not provide an alternate address on your application.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is Saturday, November 3. If you request and receive an absentee ballot, please vote and return it before 8pm on Election Day.

A sample ballot will be available on September 24 on the Township's website at twp.northville.mi.us .
ON-SITE DOCUMENT SHREDDING
Saturday, September 22
On Saturday, September 22 from 9-11am , Northville Township will be offering residents the ability to shred on-site for $3 per car. There is a six (paper grocery) bag limit. Shredding will take place at Township Hall (44405 Six Mile Road - enter from Sheldon Road). If you have any questions, please contact Northville Township at 248.348.5800.
NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP IS JOINING NIXLE
The Northville Township Public Safety Department will be launching a new community notification service on September 21! Nixle is a secure service that provides a quick way for community members who subscribe to learn about information regarding public safety issues, emergencies, and community events. The system is available at no cost to the user (although standard text message rates apply through your cell phone provider) and subscribers can choose whether to be notified via the internet, their email address or cell phone (text). There is NO spam or advertising associated with Nixle and residents who would like to stay more connected with their community can immediately begin receiving pertinent information by registering for free at nixle.com .
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE EVENT
Saturday, September 22
Northville Township is partnering with the City of Livonia and the City of Northville to offer a Household Hazardous Waste Event for residents from 8am to 2pm on Saturday, September 22. This event will be held at 650 Doheny Drive (Northville DPW Yard). Take Seven Mile West to Northville Road. Turn right on Northville Road to Doheny Drive.
