This year over a dozen Northway children, youth and adults will spend time as part of the camping program at Disciples Crossing. The Camp has been formative in many of our lives over generations as a place where we learned about God, ourselves, and how to form and practice Christian Community. The camp was previously known as Christian Youth Foundation, and before that as Camp Underwood, named after the family who gifted the land in the 1940s. To celebrate the return to a full camping season and the hire of our new Executive Director Joe Kowalski, Northway Christian Church is giving $50,0000 to Disciples Crossing from the Foundation's Serve Fund. The first $20k went in May to help support cash flow through a lean Spring. The remaining $30k is set as a challenge grant for this summer.

How you can help:

  1. Make a gift of any size to Disciples Crossing Camp here: (https://www.disciplescrossing.org/donate).
  2. Share this note with all your family and friends who also love DC and ask them to also make a gift.
  3. Share this with any other congregations or foundations who might give to support our Christian Camping ministry.
  4. Make a short video or written testimonial of how God has impacted your life through Disciples Crossing or other camping ministries and share it with us and on their Facebook Page: (https://www.facebook.com/DisciplesCrossing).

Any gifts from any source over the coming months will count toward the $30k matching gift from Northway Foundation's Serve Fund. However you choose to support and share the good news of the Gospel work happening at Disciples Crossing, thank you.
