Elementary attendance boundaries approved
Northwest ISD trustees voted to approve the proposed 2018-19 attendance boundaries for elementary schools only at their specially called board meeting.

These attendance boundaries will create a zone for Curtis Elementary School, which is scheduled to open in August, and adjust several other elementary zones. Existing schools affected by the rezoning include
Granger, Hatfield, Hughes, Love, Peterson, Sendera Ranch and Thompson.

Trustees to review revised secondary boundary recommendation
The district held a town hall in the Chisholm Trail Middle School library on Monday, March 5, to obtain further feedback on proposed boundaries and is taking that feedback into consideration. Additional feedback was gained from public comments during the specially called board meeting.  All input and data is being reviewed, as a result of this process, as the district continues to study the recommendation. Discussion, and possible action, will be considered at the next regular scheduled board meeting, which will take place Monday, March 19, the day after spring break ends.
